In-Line Pulsation Dampeners for Peristaltic Hose Pumps
All peristaltic hose pumps experience output flow pulsation, which can affect sensitive process equipment such as flow meters, piping systems, and other industrial devices, creating additional fluctuations in the system.
To reduce pulsation and protect industrial equipment, using an in-line pulse dampener at the pump outlet is recommended. These dampeners can reduce 80–90% of flow pulsations, ensuring stable and reliable pump performance.
Each peristaltic hose pump requires a suitably sized pulse dampener depending on its model. Pars Hesgar Paj designs and manufactures a range of output pulse dampeners for its pumps. Currently, three models are available for peristaltic hose pump sizes from DN25 to DN100, installed in-line in the piping system. The available models include RPD40, RPD65, and RPD100.
